1. In what ways has being a follower of Jesus changed your life?

Being a follower of Jesus has changed my life in so many ways:
1. From a nobody to a somebody (from low-self esteem to high self-esteem). I come from a background were I was despised.
2. Loving people regardless of their status. Previously, I was so choosy.
3. I am never moved by any problem or situation or intimidated by anyone! Knowing that the one (Jesus) who is in me is greater than he (devil) who is in the world.

2. If someone said to you, “Why should I become a follower of Jesus?”, what would you say?

If someone said to me, “Why should I become a follower of Jesus?” I would tell them the benefits of being a child of God. For example, Jesus is our helper in every situation. He is our Provider, Protector, Defender, Deliverer and Great Physician. In addition to that, He will keep for His followers’ eternal life in Heaven.

3. Which person (aside from Jesus) do you admire the most and why?

Apart from Jesus, the person I admire in the Bible is King David. He had his own weaknesses just like anyone else, but his love for God was great. Whenever he sinned, he always went back to God to repent.

4. Who is your favourite artist / band and why?

My favourite artists are the Hillsong Music Australia. Their Music makes me feel like I’m already in Heaven.

5 .
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

The best African Proverb that I know is in Bemba, a tribe from the Northern Province of Zambia. It says ‘Umwana Ashenda Atasha Nyina Ukunaya’. (A child who doesn’t visit thinks his mother is the best cook). It means that if you’re not exposed, you would think that what you have is the best. And so in order to improve in all areas, one needs to interact with other people and once in a while, visit other places.

6. If you knew you were going to die in six month’s time, what would you do from now until then?

If I knew that I was going to die in six months time, though I don’t wish to die now, I would write a Will, talk to my children preparing them for my departure, though they are too young to understand and of course leaving them an inheritance from the little that I have. I would also make sure that I win as many souls for The Lord as possible.
