Gibbs Mweemba – Programme Manager

1. In what ways has being a Christian changed your life?

In many ways. I used to be a street fighter and always put many people in trouble but Jesus came and changed me 24 years ago now!!

2. If someone said to you, ‘why should I become a follower of Jesus?’, what would you say?

Its for your benefit and Jesus Changes lives, look at the change he brought in me.

3. Which person do you admire the most (aside from Jesus) and why?

Col. D. Rader (a Salvation Army Officer). He has been a father figure to me in many ways.

4. Who is your favorite artist /band and why?

Dallas Holm. His music is got good messages, good tempo and suitable for my liking.

5. What is the best proverb you know and what does it mean?

“Kupwaya Nsuwa, mbutezi” (Breaking a clay pot is an accident). Accidents are not intended but they just happen.

6. If you knew where you were to die in six months time, what would you do from now until then?

I would still live the same way because I do not know when I am dying so I try as much as possible with God’s help to live well.
