1. In what ways has being a follower of Jesus changed your life?

To start with the Lord has brought a whole new meaning to my perspective of life. From being suicidal and a frequent partaker of alcohol, I have seen the grace of God in that his plans are better to follow than moving without any direction. God has given me stability and a great sense of self worth.

2. If someone said to you, “Why should I become a follower of Jesus?”, what would you say?

The basic answer would be: ‘It is for your benefit.’ This is because the Lord Jesus Christ is okay where he is, but here we are constantly facing problems and we need help every day. Those around us who may seem to know something about our situations can only do so much, but Jesus can deliver someone and lift up their standard of life as well as give them peace and quietness on the inside.

3. Which person (aside from Jesus) do you admire the most and why?

My Dad, Dr Tackson Kaphika Lambart. He has been an example to me in many ways. He has taught the things I know and the value of education. In his own unique way he has helped me to turn into a responsible woman. I will forever be grateful for the time he took to nurture me and lead me towards the love of God. God bless you dad, you are the best dad there is.

4. Who is your favourite artist / band and why?

The artist Helen Baylor. After listening to her testimony and how she met the Lord, the transformation she underwent and what God is doing with her, I get inspired and in many ways am convinced the future is brighter than what I perceive, because of God’s faithfulness.

5 .
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

‘Anione anione, khoswe anagwela mthobwa’. This is a chewa proverb that translates a boastful rat running around a drum containing a traditional drink fell in and died. So, the show-off kind of attitude is not good for anyone because it tends to bring disaster.

6. If you knew you were going to die in six month’s time, what would you do from now until then?

I would spend more time ministering to the lost and caring for husband and best friend Zondy Mwale, and children Little Michelle and Reward so that I leave a mark on their lives. I would make sure every minute of the day is carefully utilised and benefits someone.
