1. In what ways has being a follower of Jesus changed your life?

It’s amazing how I wake up, everyday, to an awesome realisation that my weaknesses are continually dropping off one after the other since I became a follower of Jesus. As a result, I’m continually resting in the greatest assurance that one day I shall wake up to find that I have attained the full stature and nature of Jesus…I’m still being changed: Eph.1:, Col 1:3-17 (1Thess.5: 23-24 assures me he will do it).

2. If someone said to you, “Why should I become a follower of Jesus?”, what would you say?

Well, there are millions of answers and reasons I could give them; but the most important one is so that they may not die but have everlasting life…the one reason he died for them(us) (John3:16). I’d tell them that it’s the only way they’d go to heaven.

3. Which person (aside from Jesus) do you admire the most and why?

Honestly speaking, there’s almost none in my own generation but Jesus himself because he is infallible! In the past I’ve admired certain figures- people referred to as great men and women of God and said ‘oh! I wish I were that person …but boy have I been disappointed!! However, from Bible times I admire those who stood on what they believed- their faith and trust in the Living God even at the expense of their own dear life! Boy isn’t that something! Men like Daniel, Abraham, Misheck, Paul and the likes.

4. Who is your favourite artist / band and why?

Among many, I seem to take a strong preference for and Terry MacAlmon. I admire the passion with which he expresses his love for God through his songs; Terry simply worships God in such a way like nobody else. I’ve experienced an awesome sense of God being around me whenever I listen to Terry’s songs however low, hurt or angry I may be; and before I realise it, I’m better again…wow!

5 .What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Lesa ni Malyotola: a Bemba adage that basically finds it’s root in Galatians 6:7 and Hebrews 10:30. God cannot be mocked, ‘Vengeance belongs to God…I mean isn’t it true that man reaps whatever he sows? (Bemba is one of the languages mainly spoken/tribe found in Zambia’s Northern province.)

6. If you knew you were going to die in six month’s time, what would you do from now until then?

Aah, aah aah this is tricky, isn’t it? Well, as truth stands eternally that no one knows their appointed day to die, I’d firstly count it an awesome privilege to have my dying day/time and all revealed to me; unlike Hezekiah who cried, clinging to his life when he was told he’d die, (aah, aah) I’d SURELY set my life in order: aah aah in a way that no doubt would guarantee my entrance to heaven!!! I’d make my very life an insurance policy aah aah!! You know I’d forgive the worst crime or offence done against me (what I normally fail to do aah aah); I’d offer such heartfelt prayers to God (the kind Jesus offered when his sweat oozed like blood - Lk22: 44 ) every moment and that without ceasing, guys! Aah aah …I’d make sure the great commission (Mt28:19) is carried out passionately with an aim to bring at least one billion people to the Lord: I’d hold crusades in towns and countries around Zambia that would bear their theme based on my ‘dying’ testimony…. Something like ‘The last profitable six months’ aah aah ah. Hey this is not funny, is it? Aah aah aah.
